The Milestonesin kokoelmalevystä huikea 60 000 kappaleen painos

Stadilaiset rockjäärät, The Milestones sai unelmadiilin saksalaisen Rocks Magazine -lehden aloitteesta: Kaikista neljästä bändin albumista kootaan The Milestones -kokoelmalevy, joka jaetaan lehden liitteenä koko painokselle.

“Tehdään näköjään sellaiset mini U2:set. Kylhän tätä promolevyä nyt aika moni saksalainen tulee kuulemaan ja sen myötä bändin tietoisuus sikäläisissä rokkiporukoissa nousee kohisten. Painos on sen verran messevä, kuitenkin yli 60 000 kipaletta. Saatiin myös diili saksalaisen agentuurin kanssa, joten ehkäpä keikkojakin saa siellä suunnalla tehdä tulevaisuudessa entistä tiiviimmin“, kitaristi Tomi Julkunen uumoilee silminnähden innoissaan.

Bändi on urakoinut vuoden aikana ahkeraan, julkaissen alkuvuodesta ylistäviä arvioita keränneen neljännen pitkäsoittonsa Higher Mountain – Closer Sun. Levy julkaistiin lokakuussa myös maailmanlaajuisesti. Lokakuuhun mahtui myös bändin ensimmäisen albumin Vol. 1 uudelleenjulkaisu 20-vuotisen taipaleen kunniaksi.

We will have our good friends Freedom Fuel as special guest.

Highly acclaimed The Milestones debut album “Vol.1” was released in 1996 by Also Records. Now Turenki Records will re-release the album October 31 th with new artwork and two previously unreleased bonus tracks.
